We are the folks at Malti Sangum Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our home base is in Rawni, which is in the Haider Garh part of Barabanki. Suneel Kumar Verma is our main contact person here. This company isn't anything fancy; it’s just a group of us who live and farm in this part of Uttar Pradesh. We spent a lot of time working on our own before we decided to form this group. Now, we try to manage our crops together. Barabanki is a good place for farming, but it still takes a lot of effort to get things right. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the soil and what we can grow. Some days we are out in the sun for hours, and other days we’re sitting in the shade trying to figure out the best way to get our produce to market. We just grow things and try to sell them so we can keep going next year. It’s been a good way to bring the community together a bit more. We’re just regular people from Rawni trying to do right by our land and our families. It’s hard work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. There's always another season coming, and we just get ready for it.
