We are just a local bunch of farmers who decided that we should probably stop trying to do everything on our own. Farming in this part of the country takes a lot out of you, especially when the seasons are harsh. We spend most of our time out in the fields or meeting up to discuss things like seed quality and where we can get the best price for our harvest. It’s not a shiny business with desks and computers everywhere. Most of our work happens outdoors where the actual farming is done. We share tools sometimes and give advice when someone’s crop isn’t looking too healthy. It’s about making sure the village can keep going and that the younger guys see a reason to stay in farming. We don't really use big words or have complicated plans. We just look at what needs to be done today and we do it. Sometimes we argue about the best way to plant, but at the end of the day, we are all on the same side.
