We started this group because farming around here in Amethi can be tough when you're on your own. My name is Swatantra Singh and we use my place in Pure Shahgarh as a base. It's right there in Gauraiganj. We mostly deal with the crops grown right here in Sultanpur district. It’s just a bunch of us locals trying to handle things better together. Sometimes the weather is bad or the market prices are just low, so we figured being a farmer producer company would help us manage the seeds and tools. We aren't a big office or anything fancy. It’s just rural life. Most days we are out in the fields or sitting around talking about what to plant next season. We have the address at 227411 if anyone needs to find us. It’s mostly about helping each other out with the harvest and making sure we get a fair shake. Farming is hard work and there's always something breaking down or needing water. We just keep going. This company is a way for us to stay organized instead of everyone just doing their own thing without talking. We know the land here in Uttar Pradesh really well because we’ve lived here our whole lives. It’s not about being some big corporation, it’s just about the farmers in our small village area getting by and maybe doing a bit better than before. We keep it simple and honest for the sake of our families.
