Our company, Babu Devnath Singh Kisan Producer Company Limited, is based in Dalatpur. We use Ranabrij Bhushan Singh’s place as our main point of contact. It’s a local operation through and through. A few of us farmers around here decided it was time to stop working in silos and start working as a collective. Farming in Dalatpur has its ups and downs, and having the company helps us stay a bit more stable. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Most of our members are just neighbors who have known each other for years. We handle the seeds, the tools, and the selling part of the job. It’s a lot of coordination, and sometimes we get behind on the typing or the filing, but the actual farming gets done. That’s what matters most to us. We aren't experts in business, but we know our land. We try to help the smaller growers get a better price when it’s time to sell. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes with the rules and the transport, but we manage. You won't find any corporate talk here. We just speak plain English and talk about what needs to be done for the next crop cycle. It’s a practical way to live, and we’re just trying to keep the tradition going while making it work in today’s world. We stick together and do the best we can.
