We are located in Village Khod, which is just on the outskirts of Rampur City. Asgar Ali Farmer Producer Companylimited is based right at Akbar Ali’s place. It’s a family kind of thing mostly. We don’t have a formal office with cubicles or anything like that. It’s more of a home where we do business. Rampur is where we grew up and we know every corner of this village. The work involves a lot of coordination with the local growers. We spend a lot of time on our phones or just walking over to meet people in person. It’s much better than sending emails all day. We don’t have a marketing team or a spokesperson. I’m writing this because I’m the one who handles the registration stuff. Our days are long and usually start before the sun comes up. There is always a lot of tea being drunk while we discuss the prices and the harvest. Sometimes the neighbor's cow gets loose and we have to help chase it back. It’s just that kind of place. We don’t have any grand ambitions to be a global brand. We just want to work our land and help the village. It’s a simple, practical life. 244901 is where we are if you ever head this way.
