Mishraulia Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Sugandh Raj’s house in Mishraulia. It’s in the Afzalpurtola area of Paterhi block. We started this because we felt like farmers around here needed a way to talk to each other more. It’s not a big office with a sign outside. Mostly, we just gather around and discuss the crops. Some of us have been farming since we were kids. We know the soil here really well. Mishraulia is a small village and word travels fast. We decided to make a company so we could buy things in bulk. It saves everyone a bit of money. We don’t have any fancy staff. Sugandh helps keep the papers in order. We usually meet up in the evenings when the sun is down. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we know. The roads can be dusty in the summer. We don’t do much advertising because everyone knows who we are already. We just want to keep our farms going and make sure the families here are doing okay. It’s a simple life. We deal with the seeds and the fertilizer and the rain. Some years are better than others. We just keep at it day by day. If you need us, you just come to Afzalpurtola and ask for the farmers' group. We usually have someone around to talk or help out with farming questions.
