Our company, Khushhal Nalanda Farmer Producer Companylimited, is located in Soniyawan. It is a small village near the Telhara police station. We have been working together as a group of farmers for quite a while now. We decided to make it official so we could handle things better for the group. Most of us grew up right here in Nalanda. We know the history of the place and we know how the seasons work around here. The office is right by the post office, so it is easy for people to find us when they need to talk. We do not have fancy furniture or a receptionist sitting at a desk. Usually, it is just one of us sitting there with a register and a pen. We spend most of our time out with the crops anyway. It is hard work, but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes the crops do not do so well, and those are the tough months for everyone. But when the harvest is good, the whole village feels a lot better. We are just trying to make sure everyone gets a fair shake in the market. We are not trying to change the world, just our little corner of it in Soniyawan. If you are ever in the area near Telhara, you can stop by.
