Koytur Farmer Producer Company Limited

People around Gosai Mohalla know where house number 653 is. That is where we usually get together to talk about the crops and the season ahead. We are in Mudaza Bk Navegaon, which is out in Gadchiroli. It’s a quiet place, mostly just farming and small talk. We decided to call ourselves Koytur Farmer Producer Company Limited because it felt right for our group. We aren’t big city folks. Most of our days are spent in the dirt, checking on the water or seeing if the seeds are coming up right. Sometimes the weather behaves, and sometimes it really doesn't, but that is just how it goes here. We don’t have fancy desks or chairs. We sit around and figure out who needs help with their harvest or where we can send the produce this time. It is a lot of work, keeping track of everything, but being a collective makes it a bit easier than doing it all alone. We just want to make sure the families in our village have enough and that our hard work in the fields doesn't go to waste. You might see us walking down the road or hauling stuff on a tractor. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life. We’ve been here for generations, and having this company is just a new way to keep the old traditions alive while trying to get a fair shake for everyone in the mohalla.
