We are over here in Gadchiroli, specifically in the Govindpur area. Our setup is right at Ravindra Rajendra Madhu’s place. It’s a quiet spot, and most of us around here spend our days out in the fields or looking after the livestock. When we started Vagbhata Farmers Producer Company Limited, it wasn't because we had some big corporate plan. It was just a few of us realizing that things work better when we talk to each other and handle our crops together. The roads out here in Aheri can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we manage. You can usually find someone at the office if you stop by Govindpurtha. We deal with whatever the season brings, whether it’s the heat or the heavy rains. It’s not a fancy office with glass windows and air conditioning. It’s a practical space where we sit down on plastic chairs and figure out how to get our produce moved or where to find better seeds. People stop by to complain about the weather or to ask about the market prices. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just know our land and our neighbors. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much for us, but it’s part of the job now. We’ve lived here all our lives, so everyone knows where the office is. It’s just how we do things in this part of Maharashtra.
