Down in Bhivapur Juni Vasti, in the Chamorshi area of Gadchiroli, you’ll find Shetidharak Producer Company Limited. Our address is Number 76, right in the heart of the village. We are just a collection of local farmers. Gadchiroli is a unique place with a lot of forest and land that takes a lot of effort to work. We started this group because we wanted to have a bit more control over how our produce is handled. Most of the time, we are busy in the fields or trying to fix some equipment that broke down. The office is just a spot where we can keep our records and meet up to discuss the market rates. It’s not fancy. We have a lot of long days, especially when it’s time to gather the harvest. The 442603 area is where we all live and breathe. We don't really have any big-shot managers. It’s just us, the people who actually do the planting and picking. We talk about the rain a lot because it’s so important for what we do. Sometimes the insects are a problem, and we have to figure that out together. It’s a very hands-on job. We aren’t trying to be famous or anything. We just want to keep our farms going and support our families. It’s just how things are done here in Bhivapur.
