We are based in Gadchiroli, specifically in the Rampuri Ward area. Our office is set up at the residence of Wasauti C Munghate. It’s a quiet part of the state, and Semana Farmer Producer Company Limited is our way of organizing the local growers here. Gadchiroli is known for its forests and hills, which makes farming a bit different than in the plains. We don't have a big glass building or a fleet of fancy cars. Our meetings usually happen in a simple room or even outside under the shade when the weather is nice. We spend a lot of time talking to the tribal and local farmers about what they are growing and how we can get it to the market. It’s not an easy job because the distances are long and the roads aren't always great. We focus on the basics—seeds, tools, and finding buyers who pay a fair price. You won't find any slick advertisements from us. We are just local people trying to help our community get a bit more for their hard work. Most days involve a lot of walking or riding on motorbikes to reach the different fields. We keep our records in handwritten ledgers mostly. It’s a slow process sometimes, but we are committed to staying here in Rampuri Ward and doing the work. If you come by, don't expect a formal reception, just a seat and some honest talk about farming.
