Sri Kandavinayaga Granite

You can find us at No 1 in the Sipcot Ns area of Perunthurai. Sri Kandavinayaga Granite is situated right in the industrial part of town, so it is a lot of big trucks and heavy machinery around here. Our yard is usually full of granite blocks and finished slabs. The sun beats down on the stone all day. It makes the yard really warm. We spend hours out there moving pieces with the crane. Perunthurai is a busy place for this kind of work. We have people coming in and out of the Sipcot area constantly. The sound of the cutters is pretty constant during the day. It is a tough environment but we are used to it. We do not really have a quiet office to sit in. Most of the work happens right there on the ground. We wear our boots and get to it every morning. The slabs are heavy and you have to be careful with every single one. If you drop something, it is gone. We just try to get the orders sorted and loaded onto the trucks. It is a lot of standing and lifting. Sometimes the rain slows us down, but mostly we are out there working through whatever the weather is. We have been at this No 1 spot for some time now. It is just what we do to get the work finished.
