Gayatri Marbles

Our yard is situated at number 137 on Perundurai Road, right across the street from Eswara Moorthy Mahal in Palayapalayam. If you drive past, you will definitely see the big slabs of stone and marble leaned up against the walls outside. We have been here for a good while, selling different types of marble for houses and local construction projects. It is a bit of a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have a small shed where we keep the invoices and a few samples of the nicer pieces. Most of the work happens outside in the sun, moving the heavy stones around with the workers. People come by when they are building a new kitchen or fixing up their floors. We just show them what we have in stock and tell them how much it costs. The traffic on Perundurai Road is always heavy, so there is a constant sound of trucks and cars passing by. We like being in Palayapalayam because it is a place where people are always building something new. We aren't a big corporation, just a local business trying to provide what the neighbors need for their homes. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't use any complicated sales talk when people come to look at the stone.
