Over at No. 33 East Street, you’ll find Navin Granites Pvt. Ltd. Even though the name sounds a bit formal, we are just a regular group of people working with stone. The office is small and tucked away in the building. Most of the real action happens out where the granite is kept. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and careful moving so nothing breaks. We’ve been on East Street for a long time. The building is older, but it serves our purpose well enough. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We'd rather just focus on the granite itself. Every day is pretty much the same routine. We check the orders, look at the stock, and talk to people who come by. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't do much in the way of promotion. People just know where we are through word of mouth. Sometimes we have to deal with delays or equipment breaking down at the wrong time. We just fix it and keep going. It’s a practical business. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just show up and do the work. The neighbors are good people, and we try not to make too much noise during the day. It’s just how we run things here on East Street. It's a simple way to live and work together.
