Sri Ambika Marbles

Our place is Sri Ambika Marbles, and you can find us at number 1135 on Knk Road. We are pretty close to the Gouri Ranga Appartment, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. The road gets quite a lot of traffic during the day, so it never really stays quiet for long. We have been working with marble here for some time now. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for trucks or helping people look through the inventory. The sun hits the front of the shop in the morning and makes the stone look bright. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a local business on Knk Road. The building is simple and we keep the marble stacked up where it’s easy to get to. Sometimes we sit outside and watch the people going toward the apartments. It’s a bit of a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. 1135 is the number on the gate. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the stone business stays pretty much the same. You lift things, you move things, and you talk to the regulars. It’s honest work and we are just glad to be part of the community here near the Gouri Ranga Appartment. It’s just us and our slabs of stone day in and day out, making sure everything is where it should be.
