Kandha Granites

Our place is located on 2nd Street in Lakshimipuram, right here in Chithode. It is a quiet enough area for the most part, except when the granite slabs are being moved around. We have been working with stone for a long time now at No: 87. It started out small, just a couple of us handling whatever came in, and it has not changed all that much in terms of how we do things. We spend our days looking over the slabs and making sure they are cut right for whoever needs them. The yard gets quite hot in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early if we can. Most people who live around here know us by now. We are not trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a reliable spot where you can get a decent piece of granite without a lot of fuss. The trucks come and go through the narrow streets, which can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. It is a lot of physical labor, getting your hands dirty and dealing with the weight of the stone every day. We do not have any big speeches to give about what we do. It is just granite. We cut it, we move it, and we help people load it up when they come by the shop. It is a simple life and it keeps us occupied.
