Raja Granites

Raja Granites is located out at 121/1 in Vaikkalmedu, right on Kunnathur Road near the Kolappalur Post. It’s a bit of a drive out here in Gobichettipalaiyam, but we have plenty of space for the stone. Our yard is filled with slabs of granite in all sorts of colors. It’s a dusty job, and we are usually covered in some kind of stone grit by the end of the shift. We have a small office shed on the property where we keep the books and take calls. It’s nothing special, just a desk and a few chairs that have seen a lot of use. We spend most of our time outside anyway, moving slabs or showing people what we have in stock. The sun can be pretty brutal out here, so we have a few big trees that provide a little shade during lunch breaks. We’ve been working with stone for a long time. My father started this and now we just keep it going. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or anything. If someone needs granite, they come by, look at what we’ve got, and we figure it out. The equipment we use to move the heavy stuff is old but reliable. It’s hard work, but it’s honest. We like the quiet out here away from the main town center. It’s just us, the stone, and the road. We stay busy.
