Prithvi Granites

Prithvi Granites is located at 134, Main Road, inside the Siva Studio Complex in Gobichettipalayam. It is a very easy location to spot if you are driving through the main part of town. We have stacks of granite slabs parked out back and a small area in the front where we keep samples. Moving these heavy stones around is a big part of our day, so there is usually a crane working or someone loading a truck. The shop often has a bit of stone dust on the surfaces, no matter how many times we try to sweep it away. We are not a fancy showroom with bright lights and air conditioning. It is more of a practical yard where people can come and see the actual stone they are buying. We talk to a lot of local builders and families who are working on their homes. We always tell people to look at the slabs in person because every piece of granite has its own unique patterns. We do not have a sales team in suits. It is just a couple of us and some helpers handling the daily tasks. Sometimes we are out at a building site taking measurements, so the shop might be quiet for a little while. Gobi is a friendly place to work, and we have been here long enough to know most of the regulars. We just provide honest material for people's floors and counters.
