General Shipping & Fs

You’ll find General Shipping & Fs over on Welington Island. We are on the first floor of the Ninas Building. It’s an older building, but it has a lot of character. Being near the water means there’s always a bit of a breeze, which is nice in the summer. The island has its own pace, very different from the mainland. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at schedules. It can get pretty hectic when the shipments are moving fast. The office is usually full of maps and ledgers. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people working around the docks. It’s not a glamorous job, plenty of paperwork and making sure things are where they should be. We eat our lunch at the small shops nearby. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, but we’re used to them by now. Sometimes the salt air makes the windows a bit cloudy, but we don’t mind. We just focus on the task at hand. There’s always something to be done, whether it’s checking a list or talking to a driver. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees, just a dedicated group trying to keep things on track. Welington Island is a unique place to work, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
