Our place is on Darbar Hall Road in Kochi, right near the TDM Hall. We are on the first floor of the Gowri Sankaram building. It is a good spot to be in because we are close to a lot of the maritime activity that goes on here. We spend our days looking after ships and the people who work on them. It is a lot of paperwork and making sure everything is up to code for the authorities. Sometimes we have to deal with things in the middle of the night if a ship has an issue. That is just part of the job when you are managing vessels. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us in the office making sure things stay on track. Kochi is a city that lives by the water, so we feel right at home here. The office gets a bit cluttered with manuals and charts, but we know where everything is. We have been around for a while and have seen many ships come and go from the port. It is interesting work if you like the sea, though we spend most of our time behind desks and computers. We try to be fair with everyone we work with. It is a small world in shipping, so your reputation is really just about whether you do what you said you would do. We just try to keep the boats moving.
