We’ve been over here on Welington Island for a good while now. Our office is on the third floor of the Metro Plaza Building, specifically at 24/1361 on Gv Iyer Road. It's a busy spot, mostly because of all the port activity nearby. Most days involve a lot of paperwork and checking on containers coming through the terminal. It gets pretty loud outside with the trucks, but we've gotten used to it over the years. There are about ten of us working here in the office. We handle the usual logistics stuff, making sure things get on the ships when they are supposed to. Sometimes the schedules get messy, especially during the monsoon season when the docks slow down. We just deal with whatever comes up. People usually find us by looking for the Metro Plaza sign near the main road. The lift in this building is a bit slow and grumpy, so most of us just take the stairs to the third floor. It keeps us moving. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We focus on getting the freight moved without too much fuss. It's steady work. Most of our regular clients know the way, but if it's your first time coming to Welington Island, it can be a bit confusing with all the numbered roads. We’ve stayed in this same spot because it’s close to where the action is. It's practical.
