We are located on Subramaniam Road over on Welington Island. It is a bit of an older part of the port area, and it has a lot of history to it. Our building is number XXVI/1811. We have been here for a long time, and the name on the door has been there even longer. It started out as a family thing and we have kept it that way mostly. We deal with the day-to-day business of the port and the ships that come through the harbor. It is a lot of manual entries and physical checks on things. Being on the island means we are right where the action is, even if it feels a bit quieter than the mainland sometimes. We are not really into the modern corporate way of doing things. We prefer to talk to people directly and settle things with a handshake when we can. The office has that old-school feel to it, with wooden desks and lots of paper files. We know the other businesses around here pretty well. It is a tight community on Welington Island. We just show up every morning and see what needs to be handled for the day. Sometimes it is a lot of work, and sometimes it is just a few things to check. We do not overcomplicate it. We have seen the shipping industry change a lot over the years, but the basics are still the same. You just have to be reliable and show up on time.
