Dawn Public School

You can find Dawn Public School on P Gangadaran Road over in Palluruthy. It is a quiet enough street compared to the main hubs, which is good for the kids. We have a simple setup here. The building isn't huge, but it has enough room for the different grades we teach. Most mornings start with the sound of parents on scooters dropping off their children. We have been here for a good amount of time, so most of the neighbors know us by name. The classrooms are basic with wooden benches and plenty of windows to let in the air. In the rainy season, things get a bit damp, but that is just how it is in this part of the country. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. Instead, we just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids are doing their homework. There's a small playground area where they run around during lunch. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone is out at once, but they don't seem to mind much. Our staff stays busy with the registers and planning for the next week. It’s a local school for local people. We try to keep things organized, even if it gets a little chaotic when the final bell rings and everyone wants to go home at the same time.
