St Ephrem Seminary Public School

St Ephrem Seminary Public School sits right here in Sehion Nagar, over in Vettickal. If you know Ernakulam at all, you know this part of town has its own pace. We’ve been at this address for a good while now. It’s a school, so you can imagine the noise levels when the bell rings or when the buses pull up in the morning. Our staff shows up early, usually before the sun gets too hot, to get the classrooms ready. There is always something to fix, whether it is a desk that wobbles or a light that needs replacing. We don't have a massive team, just regular people from the neighborhood and surrounding areas who know the families here. The kids come from all over this part of the district. We spend our days making sure the schedule stays on track, dealing with lost lunchboxes, and keeping the place running as smoothly as possible. It is a lot of work, and some days are definitely longer than others. The building itself has seen plenty of students pass through. We try to keep the grounds tidy, but with so many children running around, there is usually a stray ball or some paper somewhere. That’s just how it goes with a school. We are tucked away in Vettickal, away from the main city rush but still busy enough on our own. People around here know where we are. It’s just a practical place for learning. We keep the doors open and the day moving along as best as we can.
