Vijnanpeedom Public School

Vijnanpeedom Public School is located out in Edanad, near Chowwara in the Ernakulam district. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to the city, which is nice for a school. We have a decent building and some space for the kids to run around when they aren't in class. Most of our students come from the local families around Chowwara and the nearby spots. The mornings are usually the busiest time, with buses and cars dropping everyone off at the gate. It’s just a regular public school where we follow the usual routine every day. We have teachers who have been with us for a long time and they know most of the parents by name. The classrooms are filled with the usual desks and chalkboards, and there is always some artwork pinned to the walls. We don't have any big corporate backing, just the local community supporting what we do. During the monsoon, the ground gets pretty wet, but we manage to keep things going. It’s a place where kids learn their subjects and play with their friends. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just about giving the kids in Edanad a place to go to school every day. The staff tries their best to keep everything running smoothly, even when things get a bit chaotic during the lunch break or school assemblies.
