Rajashree S M Memorial School

Rajashree S M Memorial School is located in East Kadungalloor, near Union Christian College in Ernakulam. It’s a pretty quiet corner of the world most of the time. We are just a local school doing what schools do. We’ve been here in this part of Ernakulam for a good bit, and we’ve seen the area change around us. The school itself stays pretty much the same. We have our classrooms and our small office where we handle the paperwork. It’s not a polished corporate place. We have some cracked tiles and old wooden desks, but it feels like home to us. The teachers here really know the kids. We don't use a lot of fancy technology unless we really need it. We prefer the old-fashioned way of teaching and talking to each other. People around East Kadungalloor know us as a place that’s been around for years. We aren't trying to win any prizes. We just want to make sure the students learn something useful before they head home. It’s a daily effort, with a lot of noise and energy. That’s just the nature of a school. We are part of the landscape here, right near the college. It’s an honest place where we just try to do our bit for the local families. We stay busy, keep things running, and focus on the daily tasks in front of us.
