Chinmaya Vidyalaya

We’ve been over here in Kolathara for quite a while now. Most folks in the Kannamally area know where Chinmaya Vidyalaya is, right near the Kahnamalai stretch. It’s just a regular school where kids come to learn and grow up. The gates open pretty early every morning, and you’ll see parents dropping their children off on bikes or walking down the road. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of teachers talking and kids playing during their breaks. We have desks, chairs, and blackboards just like any other place. Some of the trees on the property have been growing since we first started out here. It's a busy spot during the week, especially when the final bell rings and everyone heads home. We try to keep things tidy, though with so many students running around, there is always something to fix or a floor to sweep. The staff stays late sometimes to get the paperwork done. It isn't a fancy building with glass walls, just a solid place where we do our work day in and day out. Living and working in Kahnamalai means we see the same faces often, which is nice. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next morning. Sometimes the weather gets a bit rough being where we are, but we just carry on. People know they can find us here if they need to talk about their kids or school stuff.
