Samrat Electronics

You’ll find Samrat Electronics down in the lower ground of Urmila Tower. Our shop is L.G. 9, right where Shree Ram Sales Agency is located. Being in the basement or the lower level means we don’t get much natural light, so we rely on those long tube lights to see what we’re doing. The shop is full of wires, components, and various electronics that need looking at. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of inventory coming in. The tower itself is usually buzzing with people going to different offices, so there’s a lot of foot traffic past our door. We spend a lot of time hunched over workbenches with soldering irons or screwdrivers. It’s not the quietest place, especially with the hum of the building’s air conditioning and the chatter from the hallway. We keep a small radio playing in the background most days to break the silence when we’re working alone. The shelves are a bit disorganized, but we usually know where the specific spare parts are hidden. Sometimes the elevator in the tower breaks down, and we have to carry boxes up and down the stairs, which is quite a workout. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here, just a practical workshop and a small counter for the customers who drop by. It took us a long time to get all these bins labeled correctly, but they still get mixed up.
