Peepin Restaurant

You can find us over on Jodaphatak Road in Dhansar. We are pretty close to the Shakti Mandir, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find the place for the first time. We’ve been serving food here in Dhanbad for a bit now. The restaurant isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit in enough tables for the lunch and dinner rushes. We do a mix of different dishes, mostly the kind of stuff local families like to eat when they go out for a meal. The kitchen is always a bit noisy with the pans clattering and the stoves going. We don’t have fancy tablecloths or waiters in tuxedos. It’s more of a casual spot where you can come in your everyday clothes. We focus more on the cooking than the decor. Sometimes when it’s busy, the service might take a few extra minutes, but that’s because everything is being made to order in the back by our cooks. We see a lot of the same faces every week, which is nice. It feels like a neighborhood spot. The street outside is usually busy with traffic and people going to the temple, so it’s a lively area to be in. We just try to provide a decent meal for a fair price. We open up in the morning to start the prep work and keep going until the last customers leave at night and we can finally clean up the kitchen.
