Quality Parlour

Quality Parlour is a small place on Sasanberiya Road in Nirsha. It’s quite far from the main Dhanbad city center but we have a good number of people who come to us. I named it Quality because I wanted to do a good job, even if we are in a small town area. The shop is quite simple. We have two chairs and a big mirror. Most of the work we do is for men and kids in the neighborhood. We do haircuts and shaves. Sometimes we get busy in the mornings before people go to work. I have lived in Nirsha all my life so I know almost everyone who walks through the door. We talk about the local news or the weather while I work. The tools I use are the basic ones, scissors, combs, and a trimmer. I keep them clean. It is not a place with air conditioning or fancy music. We just have a small radio playing sometimes. The floor is concrete but I keep it swept. It is a modest business. I don't spend money on advertising because word of mouth is enough around Sasanberiya Road. People know me and they know I will do a decent job for a fair price. It’s just me working there most of the time. I like the routine of it and being part of this small community.
