Arun Hair Dressing Salon

You can find us near the river side in Katrasgarh, right on the Main Road. It is a nice spot because you can see the water sometimes and it feels a bit more open than the cramped parts of town. I have been running Arun Hair Dressing Salon for quite a few years now. Most of the people in Katrasgarh know where we are. It is a traditional kind of shop. We don't have any of those modern gadgets or neon lights. Just some good shears, combs, and a steady hand. My father taught me how to do this, and I have just kept it going. We see families coming in together, fathers bringing their sons for their first haircut. It makes the place feel like a real part of the town's history. The building is a bit old, but it stays cool enough. We open early in the morning because many workers want to get their hair sorted before they head out to the fields or the mines. The Main Road is always busy with trucks and bikes, so there is a lot of noise, but inside the shop, it’s just the sound of scissors. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here by the river. It is a simple way to earn a living, and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces every month.
