Bombay Hair Cutting Saloon

Bombay Hair Cutting Saloon is located in Saharpura, right on the Sindri Road in Dhanbad. I’ve been in this spot for a long time, back when Sindri was a lot busier than it is now. The shop has that old-style feel to it. I have those heavy iron chairs that you don't really see much anymore. They are hard to move, but they never break. The walls are covered in some old posters that have faded over the years from the sun coming through the front window. I mostly do regular haircuts and beard trims. I don’t do any of those modern styles the kids see on the internet, though I try my best if they show me a picture on their phone. My hands know the old way better. Sindri is a quiet place these days, but I still have my regular group of older men who come in just to sit and talk for an hour even if they don’t need a haircut. I don't mind it. It makes the day go by faster. I keep a small television in the corner, usually tuned to the news or a movie. The reception isn't great, but you can hear what’s going on. The address is easy to find if you know the Saharpura market area. I’m usually there from early morning until the sun goes down and the street lights come on.
