Gloch Hair Dress Salon

Jharia is a busy place, and Shiv Mandir Road is no different. We are located near Phulari Bag, which is a spot most people around here know well. Dhanbad can be quite dusty with all the activity, so we are always wiping down the glass and the counters. The shop is called Gloch, and it is just a regular hair dress salon for the local men. We have a few chairs and a small bench where people sit and chat while they wait. The Shiv Mandir is close by, so you can sometimes hear the bells or the people going for prayers. We open the doors early and stay until late in the evening. It is a simple setup with a couple of mirrors and the basic tools we need. We don’t have any fancy products or expensive equipment. It is just about doing a decent job so people come back next time. The neighborhood is full of working people who just want a quick trim. We know a lot of them by name now. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. It is a steady life, and we are just glad to have our spot here on the road. We don't try to be anything we are not. It is just a shop for the community. Sometimes it gets loud with the motorbikes passing, but we just keep working through it all day.
