Lakshmi Hair Dresser Salon is located out in Telmochho, Mohuda. It’s in the Dhanbad area, which is a bit different from the busy city centers. Our shop is a very simple building on a quiet street. We don't have many neighbors, so it’s usually peaceful until a group of customers shows up at once. We’ve been serving the people around here for a long time. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have fancy air conditioning or leather seats. We have basic wooden chairs and some stools. We use simple tools that have lasted us through many years of work. Cutting hair is what we know, and we don't try to pretend it’s anything more than that. The light comes in through the open door, and we usually have a small radio playing some local stations. Sometimes when the rain is heavy, we just sit and wait for it to pass before the next person comes in. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. People just know we are here when they need a trim. It is a humble life, but it keeps us going. We’re just a small part of the Mohuda community, doing our bit day by day without any grand ideas. Our doors are open most days unless something urgent comes up at home.
