Sadhna Publications

You can find us at Plot No K-4/4 in Model Town Phase II. It’s a residential area but we run Sadhna Publications from here. It is a quiet street most of the time compared to the main roads. We have been working out of this space for quite a while. Most of our work involves editing and getting manuscripts ready for print. We have a lot of books stacked up in the corners. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s more like a home that has been turned into a workspace. We drink a lot of tea while we work on the layouts. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat. We have a few computers and a printer that makes a lot of noise. Dealing with authors and printers takes up most of our day. We try to stay organized but sometimes the papers get mixed up. It’s just part of the process. We don't have a big marketing team. We just do the work and people find out about us. It’s a steady pace of life here. We like the neighborhood. It’s nice to be away from the heavy traffic of the city center. We just keep doing our thing and putting out new titles when they are ready. Sometimes we run out of storage space and have to stack boxes in the hallway. It gets a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We take things one day at a time and see how it goes.
