Our office is at 2607 Nai Sarak which is a place most book lovers in the city know pretty well. It’s a crowded street full of paper and ink smells and we have been tucked away here for years. We do publishing work mostly and our space is filled with stacks of books and manuscripts waiting to be looked at. It’s not a very organized place if you look at it from the outside but we know where everything is. The wooden stairs up to our spot are a bit creaky and you have to be careful not to trip over the bundles of paper near the door. We don't spend much on decorations or expensive furniture because we’d rather focus on the printing and the pages. The noise from the street downstairs never really stops but we’ve grown used to it over time. Students and teachers often drop by to check on what we are working on or to see if a certain title is ready yet. It’s a simple setup with a few desks and a lot of history in the walls. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that we just put out the books and let people find them. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be sent to the binders next. It’s a slow process sometimes but it’s what we do and we like being part of the Nai Sarak community.
