Down on Lokikere Main Road in Davangere, that’s where our school is located. We have the younger kids and the pre-university students all in the same general area, so it stays lively. It’s a big building at No. 67/1, and we’ve been operating here for a good bit of time now. The morning routine is usually a bit of a rush with everyone trying to get to class on time. Our teachers are local folks mostly, and they put in a lot of hours making sure the syllabus is covered. We deal with the usual school stuff like grading papers, keeping the grounds clean, and making sure the kids aren't getting into too much trouble. Davangere is a nice place to work, and being on the main road makes it easy for the buses to get in and out. We aren't doing anything flashy; we just stick to the curriculum and try to help the students understand what they’re being taught. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, but the school stays open. We have a lot of desks and a lot of books, and that’s the core of it. Parents come in to talk about grades or just to see how things are going. We try to give honest answers about their progress. Lalitha International Public School and the PU college are basically just a hub for the neighborhood kids to get their education sorted out.
