Mkets Kriloskar Eng Medium School

We've been running Mkets Kriloskar Eng Medium School here in Harihar for quite some time now. It’s right near the industrial area in Yantrapura, so the surroundings are pretty busy but we manage to keep things quiet inside our gates. The building isn't brand new or fancy, but it does the job. Most of the kids who come here live nearby in Davanagere, so they walk or bike in every morning. We start early, around the time the sun is getting warm. The teachers mostly live around here too. We spend a lot of time on the basics, making sure the kids can read and do their sums properly. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just open the windows and keep going with the lessons. There’s a playground area that gets pretty dusty during the dry season, but the students don't seem to mind much when they're playing football. We try to keep the parents updated, even if it’s just a quick chat at the gate when they drop their children off. It’s a lot of work keeping a school running in an area like this. Every day brings something different, maybe a leaky pipe or a missing notebook, but we figure it out as we go along. We don't have big fancy events every week, just the usual classes and occasional sports days. It’s just a normal place for local kids to learn.
