If you know Siliguri, you know how busy Sevoke Road stays most of the time. We are right there in the middle of it. We started this place because everyone around here likes a good snack with their tea, especially when it rains, which happens a lot in this part of Bengal. It’s not a huge place, just a simple setup where we fry things up fresh. The kitchen gets hot, especially in the afternoons. We see a lot of people stopping by on their way to work or while they’re out shopping at the other stores in Top Plaza. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is nice for eating fried snacks. We don't use any fancy machinery, just old-fashioned pans and a lot of patience. Sometimes the traffic on Sevoke Road is a bit loud, but you get used to it after working here every day. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know many of the shop owners nearby. It’s a regular neighborhood shop where the tea is always brewing. People come in, grab a plate, and chat for a few minutes before moving on with their day. It’s honest work and we like being on the 2nd Mile.
