The Navchetan English School

Living and working in Shehera, you get to know everyone pretty quickly. The Navchetan English School is located right here in the heart of Panchmahal, and we have been part of this community for a good while. Since we are an English school, a lot of the focus is on getting the students comfortable with the language, which is not always easy but we manage. The school day starts early, and you can see the students walking in from the nearby streets, usually chatting away before the morning assembly. We do not have a massive campus or anything like that, but there is enough room for the kids to study and play a bit during their breaks. The classrooms are basic, with wooden desks and blackboards that get a lot of use. Sometimes the weather in Panchmahal gets quite hot, and we just do our best to keep everyone cool and focused on their books. It is a practical kind of place. We aren't here to put on a show; we are here to make sure these kids learn something useful before they head out into the world. The staff here are mostly local people who care about the town. We see the same faces every day, and we have watched many siblings grow up and pass through our classes one after another. It is just the rhythm of life here in Shehera, and we are glad to be a small part of it. It’s just how things go around here.
