Shree Sarvodaya High School

Shree Sarvodaya High School has been a part of Godhra for quite a while now. You can find us right here in the Panchmahal district. Our building looks like many others in the area, a bit weathered from the sun but still standing strong. We have students coming in every morning from all over the local neighborhoods. It gets pretty loud when the bell rings and everyone rushes into the hallways. We don’t really have any high-tech gadgets or fancy labs, just the standard stuff you need to teach. Most of our furniture has been around as long as the teachers have. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids understand what’s on the board. Godhra is a busy place, and we try to keep the school as a steady spot for everyone who comes through our doors. Sometimes the fans don't work or we run out of ink, but we manage. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows each other’s names. We don’t put on any airs here. If you walk in, you’ll probably see a teacher drinking tea or a group of students sitting under a tree during lunch. We just do our jobs and try to keep the school running smooth. It’s a practical, local school for local people. No more, no less. We keep the gates painted and the classrooms swept, and that is usually enough for us to keep going year after year.
