Dream India School- Godhra

This version of Dream India School is over in Godhra, specifically at Plot No-18/19 in Suvidhanagar Society. It’s a residential-feeling area in the 389001 part of Panchmahal. We’ve been set up here for a while now. The school sits on a couple of plots, so there’s a bit of room, but not an endless amount. We know most of the neighbors by name. Sometimes their cricket balls end up in our yard. We have a simple gate and a small area where the kids assemble. The building is painted in colors that don't stand out too much. Inside, the rooms are filled with the sound of teachers explaining things and students shuffling their feet. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets. Most of what we do involves books and pens. It gets humid here in Godhra, and we just leave the windows open to catch a breeze. The office is a bit cramped with all the records we have to keep. We see the same rickshaw drivers dropping off the kids every morning. It’s a steady rhythm that doesn’t change much from one month to the next. We just focus on making sure the kids are in their seats when the bell goes off. It’s a local school for local people, and we like it that way. No one is putting on an act here; it’s just a place to learn.
