Jay Valinath Kanya Vidhyalay

Jay Valinath Kanya Vidhyalay is located in Shehera, which is part of the Panchmahal district. Being a school for girls, we have a specific focus on making sure they have a place to come and learn their subjects properly. The school is a bit out of the way, but that makes it quieter most of the time. We have students coming from different parts of the village and the nearby areas. The building is simple and we try to keep it as clean as possible for the girls. Our staff consists of people who have lived in Panchmahal for a long time, so we know the families of the girls who study here. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or big fancy halls. It is just classrooms with blackboards and benches. We follow the usual routine with prayers in the morning and then lessons until the afternoon. Lunchtime is when the school feels most alive because all the girls sit together and eat. We deal with the usual problems like fixing a leaky roof or making sure there is enough water. It’s a practical place for education. We want the girls to finish their schooling and be able to do something with their lives. Most of the time, we are just busy with the paperwork and the teaching. It’s a steady life here in Shehera, and the school is a big part of that for us.
