Bhagavati Catering

Bhagavati Catering operates out of No 19/24 on Karuppana Devar Street. We are located in the Ramanathapuram area of Coimbatore, which is a place we’ve called home for a long time. Our kitchen is where we spend almost all our time. It’s a small operation, mostly family and a few neighbors who help out when things get hectic. We don't have any big goals of becoming a chain; we just want to do a good job for the people who hire us. Every day we are peeling onions, grinding spices, and checking the stock. The smells in our part of Ramanathapuram are usually pretty good because of all the spices we toast. We don't use any of those pre-made pastes you see in shops. Everything is done from scratch right here on Karuppana Devar Street. Sometimes we are up all night finishing a big order for a morning function. It’s tiring, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the empty containers at the end of the day. We aren't the type to brag or use big words. We just know our way around a kitchen. If you come by, you'll see us in our aprons, probably arguing about whether the rasam needs more pepper. It’s a lively environment, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the cooking. It is a humble way to make a living, but it suits us.
