Annalakshmi Catering

We are located at No 2/3 on Andal Street, right in the Hope College area of Peelamedu. It is a quiet enough street compared to the main roads around here. Annalakshmi Catering has been operating from this spot for a bit now. We handle a lot of different orders, mostly local folks who need food for their small gatherings or family events. It’s mostly just us working in the back, getting the vegetables chopped and the rice ready. The morning sun hits the front of the building early, and that's usually when we start our prep work. Peelamedu is a busy part of town with all the colleges and offices, so there’s always someone looking for a meal. We don't use any fancy equipment, just the stuff that has worked for years. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the kitchen when a big order comes in, but we manage to get through it. My family helps out quite a bit, so it feels like a real home-style setup. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. People mostly find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The street can get narrow when people park their bikes, but it’s a good location for what we do. We just keep our heads down and focus on the cooking. That’s how we like to run things here on Andal Street. It is just basic daily work for us.
