Achi Mess

You can find Achi Mess at No 241 on Dr Rajendra Prasad Road, near the Power House in Tatabad. We are right in the middle of a lot of activity. The Power House is a big landmark, so people usually find us without too much trouble. Our mess is a simple place to eat. We don't have air conditioning or fancy chairs. It’s just rows of tables where people can sit and have a meal. We see a lot of workers, office people, and locals coming in throughout the day. The kitchen is right there, and you can smell whatever we are cooking as soon as you walk in. We don't have a huge menu with hundreds of items. We just make a few things every day and serve them until they are gone. It’s a busy environment and can get quite crowded during the lunch hour. We don't have a social media manager or a marketing plan. We just open the doors in the morning and start prepping the food. The floor might be a bit worn out and the walls could use some paint, but it’s a real place where people come to eat. We’ve been in Tatabad for a while and we like being part of the neighborhood. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we are used to the rhythm of it now.
