We are located in the Riico Industrial Area, spread across plots F-97 and 101-102. It’s a large space because granite takes up a lot of room. Being in an industrial area means it’s always loud with the sound of machinery and trucks passing by. Sisodia Granite & Marble Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a while. The sun beats down on the corrugated metal roofs, making it pretty warm inside the sheds during the summer. We spend a lot of time navigating between the tall rows of stone. It’s a bit of a walk from one end of the yard to the other. We have to be careful when moving the slabs with the cranes. It’s a high-stakes job because the material is so heavy and expensive. The ground is mostly gravel and dirt. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a small room with a couple of chairs and a desk where we do the paperwork. Most of our day is spent outside or in the cutting area. It’s a grit-and-grind type of environment. You won't find any glossy brochures here. We just show the real stone as it is. It’s a busy life in Riico, and we are just one of many units working hard every day. We just focus on the slabs and getting them loaded on the trucks for our customers.
