We spend most of our days out here at E- 89 in the Reeco New Industrial Area. Chanderia is quite a busy spot, especially with all the trucks coming through at all hours. At Nabi Marbles Pvt. Ltd., the yard is usually covered in a thin layer of white dust. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but that is just how things are in this line of work. We keep the slabs stacked up in rows, trying to keep things organized so we can find what people are looking for without too much trouble. Sometimes the cranes are running all morning, moving the heavier pieces from one side of the lot to the other. It is loud, sure, but you get used to the noise after a while. My clothes usually end up pretty messy by the time I head home for the evening. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk and some chairs where we can sit down and talk about the different types of stone. People stop by after seeing the sign, asking about what we have in stock. We show them around the piles, pointing out the different colors and how the light hits the surfaces. It is hard work, lifting and shifting things around, but it feels good to see the yard full. The weather changes, the seasons go by, and we just keep at it here in Chanderia, making sure the inventory is ready for whoever needs it next.
