Shah Marmo Pvt. Ltd. is out at Plot No. F-91 in the Riico Industrial Area of Ajoliya Ka Khera. It’s a big industrial zone, so everything is spread out and there are lots of trucks moving back and forth. Our plot is quite large, which is necessary because we deal with a lot of heavy marble slabs. The office is a basic building on one side of the lot where we keep the records and meet people who come to visit. We spend most of our time out where the stone is, though. It’s a noisy place with the sound of cutting machines running throughout the day. We don’t have much in the way of landscaping or fancy décor; it’s just stone, machinery, and a bit of shade where we can find it. Working in the Riico area means we are part of a much larger network of businesses, but we still try to keep things feeling like a local shop. Sometimes the logistics of getting things moved in and out of Ajoliya Ka Khera can be a bit of a headache, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we usually find a way. We don't try to impress anyone with big words. We just show them the marble we have in stock and let the stone speak for itself. It’s a tough environment with all the dust and heat, but we’ve built a steady life here.
