Marmoland

We are located in the Ricco Industrial Area at Ajoliya Ka Khera. Our plots are 81 and 82. This part of the country is full of stone, so there is marble everywhere you look. Marmoland is just our little corner of it. It’s a noisy area with the sound of cutting machines coming from all directions. The air always has that smell of wet stone and earth. We have a lot of space, which is good because these slabs take up more room than you’d think. We spend our days walking between the rows of stone, checking for cracks or marking things down. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. By the end of the day, our boots are usually white. We don't have a big staff, just a few guys who know how to handle the heavy stuff. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing, so we all know each other. People drive out here specifically for the industrial prices and the variety. We don’t bother with a lot of talk; we just show the stock. If a piece is good, it sells itself. The weather gets really dry here, so we’re always drinking water and trying to keep the dust down. It’s just the way life goes in the RIICO zone. We’ve been here since the early days of this area and it just keeps growing. There is always a truck waiting.
